Intro
In broad nightlight white poplar tufts are just
Like melted snow, like scrubs of worn-out wadding
June’s coming to an end, again another year
I am too late for warmth but day’s already shorter
1.
This is the way
it goes day in – day out
From May to May
while cruising a gray crowd
In a twilight
we nod, and with no sound
Busily keep to the flight
and go round, and go round
2.
That one is strong
who’s able to hold reins
Stranger, you’re wrong
you can’t beat these cold rains
Somehow the years
keep whirling away – sure
That order simply appears
to be Nature’s nature
Ref.
On photos and in movies
Everything looks cuter
Isn’t that what dreams are like?
3.
A drop of warmth’s on
the rim of a saucer
Mirrors are gone
and merrily so, sir
A penny it pays
to stand pain to stay proud
This is the way May to May
it goes day in – day out
Ref.
On photos and in movies
Everything looks cuter
Isn’t that what dreams are like?
